This week's bag finds Sara and her friend picking up the books from all over the library basement.  In it she finds a book that may lead her to some ideas that might help her figure out what she wants to do for the Talent Show herself!

Batman Villain, or so, Catwoman

I am still working through the Batman characters on colored pages, this is a Catwoman image that I did recently.  Pitt Pens, Copic markers, white prismacolor, white gel pen on gray Canson paper.

Dragon sketch card

These are steps for doing a sketch card for my son.  I typically sketch out a concept on a separate piece of paper in order to get the idea out of my head.  Then I re-draw the image on the card itself.  I let the ink dry fully before erasing the guidelines to avoid smearing them.  It also means that the markers won't smudge the inked lines as well.  The color is added and I go back over some of the line work in order to make some of the lines pop.

Batman - Mr. Freeze

In keeping with the Batman theme, here another villain, Mr. Freeze. I liked going through and working on his armor and then the incorporation of his wife which is the motivation for his crimes in the background.  This one was done on a separate sheet of paper and then scanned and printed onto the blue paper and then the marker coloring was done to the final.
