Starting the Christmas Card

Last year I waited almost too long to start working on our Christmas Cards, so I resolved to get on them earlier this year.  Here are the pencils for a couple of the characters.  I think that this year's card will be really great and am excited about how these sketches look right now, even thought these were taken with instagram and only show a little bit of the over all image.  More to come later.

Completed image for a client appreciation event, the commission will be used on items relating to the event.  Incorporated into the design are images from past commissions, a small crab, flying seagull, and a sitting pelican where all used in past compositions.  A new flying pelican was created for this one and can be used in future designs.

This is the inked stage of the t-shirt commission.  I am going to adjust the trees behind the boat and get some more wildlife into the image.

This is a work in progress photo of what is on the board right now that I can show.  Other stuff in progress, but this is a promotional image that will be used for a client appreciation event for an architectural/engineering firm.  Their theme is "Low Country Boil", so a shrimp boat is docked at the pier with the bridge in the background.  More to come later!
