2013 Low Country Boil

This is the back image of a t-shirt for a friend's company's annual client appreciation picnic.  I took the inspiration from the Morris Island Lighthouse and the shrimp boats that ply the waters around Charleston.  The crab has been on every shirt that I have done for them and I am always looking for ways to incorporate him.

The line art was done in Illustrator CS5 and the colors are from Photoshop.  The blue is the color of the shirt.

Completed image for a client appreciation event, the commission will be used on items relating to the event.  Incorporated into the design are images from past commissions, a small crab, flying seagull, and a sitting pelican where all used in past compositions.  A new flying pelican was created for this one and can be used in future designs.

This is the inked stage of the t-shirt commission.  I am going to adjust the trees behind the boat and get some more wildlife into the image.

This is a work in progress photo of what is on the board right now that I can show.  Other stuff in progress, but this is a promotional image that will be used for a client appreciation event for an architectural/engineering firm.  Their theme is "Low Country Boil", so a shrimp boat is docked at the pier with the bridge in the background.  More to come later!
